Blast from the past
So, how have you been? It's been a while since the last post. I am getting on so well with Twitter you see. I don't know if I have enough to say when given the unimaginable luxury of more than 148 characters. That's my personal struggle with the whole blog thing. Do I really have enough to say? Almost everyone I know who does a blog just pulls things from cyberspace, kind of like a daily update of all things fashion or design. Whatever happened to original content? It's though isn't it? Just because you have a platform, doesn't mean you have something interesting to say. So perhaps it's best to keep the blog posts short and sweet, fewer and further between in the hope that when I say something it's of a little bit of interest to someone. I am sure something will come to me sooner or later, so until then!

As someone in the office said just the other day It's all about lips this season, and if you don't have colour on your lips you're not on trend. No,indeed. You'll be off trend. This means that in extreme cases, i.e. if you go out in Shoreditch, snipers could take you out. At the very least you'll be a social fashion pariah and everyone will hate you. So put on your war paint girl, the time is now. This season is laced with fear, economical and political uncertainty, don't let them smell your fear. If appearances are everything make sure yours is coloured by the likes of Mac and D&G for maximum effect. If you're in the UK there is every reason to suspect the new government will drag you home to be a housewife and have 10 children. If that is indeed the inevitable conclusion then at least go out fighting (and looking the business).

Mighty packaging design
Building materials just got a lot sexier! Some mighty packaging design from mousegraphics. I stumbled across their work on gda.gr, it's worth taking some time to look at their website, the work is so slick.
